The 11th Hockey India Senior Women’s National Championship will be held in Jhansi from October 21 to 30, in which 28 teams will participate.

The 11th Hockey India Senior Women’s National Championship will be held in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh from October 21 to 30, in which 28 teams will participate. The championship will provide a platform to the domestic players to showcase their talent. The 28 participating teams will be divided into eight groups. The winners of the group will qualify for the quarter finals. After six days of group matches, the quarter-finals will be played on 27 October, semi-finals on 29 October and medal matches on the next day.

In addition to the various SOPs prescribed by Hockey India, each athlete, coaches, technical officials participating in the championship will be required to submit a negative COVID RT-PCR test report on arrival at Jhansi with the test done within 48 hours from their departure . from their respective bases.

In addition, all athletes and officials must have the Aarogya Setu app on their mobile devices. They will also have to follow physical distancing measures at all places except for the athletes on the field.

A COVID-19 task force will also be constituted by the organizing committee to ensure implementation of the protocols issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the State Government.
