Honda Motor Co and its Chinese joint venture partner Dongfeng Motor said on Thursday that they will build a new factory in Wuhan from 2024 exclusively to manufacture electric vehicles (EVs).

Honda said in a statement that the factory will have a production capacity of 120,000 vehicles annually.
