Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India registers sales of 3,53,188 units in May – Times of India

Honda Motorcycles & Scooters India (hmsi) recently announced that it has sold a total of 3,53,188 two wheelers in May 2022. The brand registered 3,20,844. home sales and 32,344 exports in the month of May 2022.
Honda recorded domestic sales of 3,20,844 units in May 2022 as against 38,763 units in May 2021. The brand recorded exports of 32,344 units last month as compared to 19,405 units in May last year.
“The market is gaining back strength as disruptions on the supply side are easing along with increase in physical presence in office and educational institutions. The sales figures this month are comparable to May ’21 as the continuous lockdown in the wake of the second wave impacted the performance during this period last year,” says Atsushi Ogata, President and CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India.
Further, he said, “growth in domestic and international trade continues to complement each other as we enter the early phase of monsoon.”
HMSI recently inaugurated its Honda Bigwing outlets at Muvattupuzha and Attingal (Kerala) and Indore (Madhya Pradesh).
