Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Tokyo to participate in Tractor Summit on 24 May at the invitation of Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida.

After landing in Tokyo, the Prime Minister tweeted, “Landed in Tokyo. During the visit will attend various events including the Quad Summit, meet fellow Quad leaders, interact with Japanese business leaders and the vibrant Indian diaspora will do.”

Ahead of his visit to Japan, PM Modi on Sunday said that during the Quad summit the leaders will once again get an opportunity to discuss various initiatives and issues of mutual interest.

The summit in Tokyo is the fourth interaction of the Quad Leaders since its first virtual meeting in March 2021, the in-person summit in Washington DC in September 2021 and the virtual meeting in March 2022.
