Meta (Facebook)-owned instant messaging app, WhatsApp, has implemented a new feature that will allow users to write their name in invisible text.

Although the app does not allow users to have a blank name, you can hide your name or keep it blank to maintain privacy.

But do you know how to do this? Let us tell you this easy trick which will help you to replace your name with invisible text.

Here’s how you do it:

  • Open WhatsApp on your mobile and PC
  • Copy these two symbols: Symbol:
  • go to setting option
  • Tap on your current WhatsApp name and then on the pencil icon
  • Remove the arrow symbol (⇨) and tap OK to change your name
  • your name goes blank on whatsapp

If someone adds you to a WhatsApp group, they won’t be able to see your name unless they’ve added you as a contact.

WhatsApp also recently added a new feature through an update for the desktop that will allow users to exercise more privacy.

The instant messaging app is rolling out a new update via the official beta channel for the desktop client with versions up to 2.2149.1.

WhatsApp has been working on the “Accept My Contacts…” feature for quite some time which will add more control over users’ privacy. For the said update, users will have the control to view/hide last seen, about, anyone profile photo.

“This feature is likely to be released on WhatsApp Web/Desktop when WhatsApp has fully rolled out the same feature on Android Beta and iOS Beta. Unfortunately, there is no known release date to enable the feature for more users on iOS and Android,” WhatsApp tracker WABetaInfo found.

WhatsApp is also rolling out a new update that will allow you to preview your voice messages before sending them.
