Canadian singer Grimes was seen reading a copy of Karl Marx’s ‘Communist Manifesto’ after parting ways with one of the world’s richest men, Elon Musk. Grimes (real name Claire Ellis Boucher) was pictured on the streets of Los Angeles on Friday in a brown dress, with a copy of the 1848 Anti-Capitalist Manifesto in hand. However, she has now revealed that the book was nothing more than a ploy to trick the paparazzi and the media into putting “Elon Musk” and “Karl Marx” under the same title.
Grimes wrote on Twitter, “The paparazzi followed me for a shoot, so I tried to think of what I could do to be the most onion-ish possible.” Sharing a picture of the article published by the New York Post, Grimes went viral of his photos. . “Grimes reads Karl Marx after split from world’s richest man Elon Musk,” the headline read.
The 33-year-old singer shared a screenshot of the title saying that her move “worked”.

On Instagram, inspired by the picture and title of her ‘Communist Manifesto’, she said she was “really tense” and the paparazzi followed her all week, but realized it was an “opportunity to troll” her.
“I swear by this title omg wtf haha im dead [sic],” she wrote, using internet slang to express her amusement.
Referring to their split, Grimes said that she and Elon Musk were still living together. “Full disclosure I’m still living with E and I’m not a communist,” she said, thinking of a “way to meme” if the paparazzi continues to follow her.
