How to Check and Update Google Chrome Version on Your Laptop

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has issued a warning against several vulnerabilities in Google Chrome. The vulnerability, the advisory states, could allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code and bypass security restrictions on target systems. CERT-In, Google Chrome is requesting to update Chrome browsers using versions earlier than 104.5.112.101 as soon as possible.

CERT-In said in its advisory that a number of vulnerabilities have been detected in the Google Chrome browser “that could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code and bypass security restrictions on target systems.” “These vulnerabilities exist after use in Google Chrome. FedCM, SwiftShader, Angle, Blink, Sign-In Flow, Free in Chrome OS Shell; Heap buffer overflow in downloads, Insufficient validation of untrusted inputs in Intents, Insufficient policy enforcement in Cookies and improper implementation in the extension API,” it further adds.
