How to Check Beneficiary List for Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana

Under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana, the government provides houses to the rural poor.

The central government’s flagship program – Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), or Pucca Awas Yojana – aims to build houses in rural areas.

PMAY-G was launched in November 2016 with a target of completing 2.7 crore houses. According to the Ministry of Rural Development, 18 million houses have been constructed so far, which is 67.72 percent of the target.

Under this scheme, the government gives money to the rural poor to build houses. The Center pays 60 per cent of the amount for construction of pucca houses for the rural poor while the states bear 40 per cent of the cost.

Financial assistance of Rs 1,20,000 is provided in three installments of Rs 40,000 each to all the beneficiaries for construction of a pucca house.

How to check and download Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin List 2022-23:

To view and download the complete list of PMAY-G beneficiaries, the following steps have to be followed:

  • To check the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin List, first of all have to open the home page of its official website.
  • After opening the home page, you will get the tab of Awaassoft in which you have to click on the option of “Report”.
  • After clicking, a new page will open.
  • At the end of this page, H section will be found which will be in the following form:

  1. Beneficiary details for verification
  • Now click on the option of “Beneficiary details” for verification.
  • After clicking, a new page will open.
  • On this page you will get the option of filter in which you have to select your state, district, sub-division, block, village and panchayat.
  • Now one has to enter the “Captcha” code and click on the submit option, after which the complete list will appear.
  • Finally, one can easily view and download this list and find out about the benefits of the scheme.
