To begin with the recipe, you will first need to mix the soaked chana dal into a smooth batter. Mix with boiled potatoes and pour in the spices. Also add lemon juice and green chilies. Knead it in flour. Ps: Do not add water while mixing dal.

Now it’s time to make small tikki-like shapes out of the dough. Now put oil or ghee on a pan and fry them till they become golden brown and crispy. Serve with green, mint chutney and onion rings.
