About Banarasi Chuda Matar Recipe: How to make Banarasi Chuda Matar

  1. To begin with the recipe, take a large mixing bowl, add 1 cup of poha and wash it with water. Drain the water and add 1/4 cup milk, salt to taste and 1/2 tsp sugar. Mix it and leave it for 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, heat desi ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds, chopped green chillies, finely chopped ginger, peas and let it cook.
  3. Once cooked, add garam masala, black pepper powder and mix again.
  4. Now add poha to it and mix it well with the spice mixture.
  5. Add lemon juice and green coriander over it.
