How To Make Ginger Candy For Cold And Cough I Immunity-Boosting Ginger Candy Recipe: 

Take a wide kadhai and add one cup of salt, let it heat. Then add 150 grams of ginger, stir and roast for about 7-8 minutes. Put the ginger in water for some time. Peel and cut the ginger into small pieces. You’ll notice that ginger has softened and turned aromatic. Wait! Don’t throw away the roasted salt, store it in an air-tight container and use it for purposes like baking and sauteing. 

Coming back to ginger, grind the ginger pieces with mint leaves and basil leaves. Add jaggery to the powder and cook the mixture with ajwain, turmeric powder and black pepper and cook well. Lastly, add some ghee too.  

When the mixture cools down, make small balls from the mixture and roll them in powdered mishri. Your ginger candy is ready.
