All you need in this delicious mathri recipe is basic household ingredients like all purpose flour, gram flour, kasturi methi, ghee and some spices. First of all take a big bowl and mix all purpose flour, gram flour, carom seeds, salt, ghee, fenugreek and black pepper in it, then with the help of water, knead the dough of the mixture. The dough should be hard and not too soft. Cover the dough with a muslin cloth or wet cloth and keep it aside for 20 minutes. Knead the dough again for a minute and make small round balls from the dough. Place the balls on a flat surface and flatten each ball with a rolling pin.

Prick all the parts with the help of a fork. Heat the oil and fry the mathris till they turn golden. Once done, take them out and enjoy! You can store these mathris in an airtight container for a month.
