About Shahi Sooji Halwa Recipe: How to Make Shahi Sooji Halwa

First of all take a bowl and pour hot water in it. Put almonds in a bowl and soak them overnight. The next morning, peel and roughly chop the almonds and crunch the green cardamom with a mortar and pestle.

For sugar syrup, heat a saucepan and add water to it. When the water starts boiling, add saffron strands, sugar as per taste and ground cardamom. Stir for about 5-6 minutes and your syrup is ready!

Heat ghee in a pan, add semolina and fry till it changes colour. Add sugar syrup and boil for 10-12 minutes. Garnish it with rose petals and dry fruits. Your halwa is ready to eat.
