How to read, respond and search emails offline in Gmail?

Gmail is one of the most popular emailing platforms. Over time, Google has added new features to the email service to improve the experience for its users. Did you know that Google has added a new feature to Gmail that allows users to read, reply and search emails even when they are not connected to the Internet? wonder how? read on

Users can go to mail.google.com to access G when not connected to the Internet. They can turn Gmail offline from the setting. Here’s how to turn it on

– Go to mail.google.com and sign in to your account

Click on Settings and then click on Gmail Offline Settings.

– Check “Enable offline mail”.

– Choose your settings, such as how many days of messages you want to sync.

– Click on Save Changes. After this, Google will start syncing your email/s.

Readers should note that to make it easier to use Gmail when offline, it is recommended to bookmark mail.google.com in Chrome. If you’re using Gmail with your work or school account, you can ask your administrator to help you change your settings. Also, Google Offline doesn’t work in Incognito mode.

Google says on its support page that when a user sends an email offline, the email is moved to a new “Outbox” folder and sent as soon as the user goes back online.
