Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) reported a loss for the second consecutive quarter on November 3 as prices of petrol, diesel and LPG remained stable despite rising costs.
According to the company’s filings with the stock exchanges, the company reported a net loss of ₹ 2,475.69 crore in July-September.
HPCL had made a net profit of ₹1,918.89 crore in the same period a year ago.
Revenue grew 30% to ₹1.13 lakh crore.
