Hubli: Eight people were killed and 21 others injured in a collision between a bus and a truck near Dharavati Anjaneya Temple. Tarihal Bypass Tuesday morning.

KIMS director Dr Ramalingappa Antatani said that 15 of the injured were sent to Kolhapur on the request of their family members, while the other six are undergoing treatment at the KIMS hospital.
The deceased are Ataullah Khan (40) and Nagraj Achar (56), the drivers of Byadarahalli in Bengaluru; Babaso Chougale, 59, Mastan of Ichalkaranji; Mohd Diyan Baig, 17, from Mysore; Akshay Davar (28), Akif (40) and Afaq (40) Kolhapur.
