On the first day of IPL 2022 auction, an unfortunate incident happened on live TV when British auctioneer Hugh Adams fainted in the middle of the auction.
The official account of the Indian Premier League posted an update soon thereafter. “Mr. IPL auctioneer Hugh Adams suffered an unfortunate fall due to postural hypotension during the IPL auction this afternoon. He was treated by the medical team soon after the incident and his condition is stable. Mr. Charu Sharma will continue with the auction proceedings today.”
PTI reported that Edmids was then attended by a doctor who had ensured his safety. “He has been treated by a doctor. He is doing fine, his blood pressure suddenly dropped and this was the reason for his sudden fall. We will know more once he gets a thorough check-up,” reveals a source.
