Hundreds of Kate Bush fans in red dress gather to dance on ‘Most Wuthering Heights Day’

The Kate Bush fantasy is emerging from the woods and it’s a stunning sight. For the singer’s birthday on July 30, an annual ‘The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever’ is celebrated every year, The Independent reports. This year, fans dressed like Bush to his song in red in Wuthering Heights and gathered together to dance to the hit in various locations such as Sydney and Edinburgh. Cologne, Berlin and Atlanta were also ready to celebrate. The best part? It was all for a good reason. The Sydney program was non-profit and raised funds for Women’s Legal Services NSW.

Videos of Kate Bush’s fans dancing on social media are going viral.

Kate Bush’s birthday celebration by fans took place after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The singer’s resurgent popularity is due not in the least to the fact that the smash-hit series Stranger Things featured her song Running Up the Hill, which sent it to the top of the charts.

In an interview, Bush explained the meaning of the song to his listeners. The artist was quoted as saying, “Some people think it’s literally about climbing a hill, but it’s not.” He further mentioned that he had never even seen a hill “let alone driving one.”

It has been uploaded by Twitter user Keaton Patti. The interviewer was unable to understand that Bush had never seen Hill, so she asked him to take a look outside the window, to which she replied, “I wouldn’t. Please continue the interview without any Hill questions.”
