But the idea was taken from New York where people started the No Pants Subway Ride in 2002. The agenda was to make people laugh. The event’s founder said, “The event has no agenda other than a desire to make others laugh and smile.”
It made its way to London, where The Stiff Upper Lip Society took up the idea and organized the event. The Stiff Upper Lip Society’s founder said it’s not about raising money, but about making people smile.
