In the rape case of a minor girl from Hyderabad, the police arrested another accused on Saturday, June 4. One of the accused, Saaduddin Malik, was arrested on Friday. The accused have been identified as Saaduddin Malik and Omar Khan while three others are minors.

Here’s what we know so far:
1) On May 28, a 17-year-old girl had gone to a pub in Hyderabad. She met a boy who had allegedly promised to drop her home. He left the club with him and his friends.
2) The minor girl was allegedly gang-raped by the five accused in a parked car in Jubilee Hills.
3) The police have registered a case against unknown people based on the complaint of the girl’s father.
4) Three of the five accused are minors. Two others have been identified as Saudeen Malik and Omar Khan.
5) One of the accused Saaduddin Malik was arrested on Friday.
6) The Innova car in which the crime was committed belongs to a TRS leader, who holds an important post in the government body.
7) Efforts are on to nab her minor son.
8) Another minor accused is the son of a GHMC corporator.
