Hyderabad Traffic Police shares video from Balakrishna’s Akhand to spread awareness

Hyderabad Traffic Police, known for its witty tweets to create awareness through Tollywood pictures and videos, has now shared a scene from the movie Akhanda. The traffic police has shared a scene from Nandamuri Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal-starrer Akhand and it has gone viral. In the movie scene, Balakrishna saves Pragya from getting a head injury while driving. Later he advises her to wear a seat belt to avoid such incidents.

Sharing the video on Twitter, Hyderabad Traffic Police thanked the makers of the hit film Akhand for promoting road safety. The traffic police also asked people to wear seat belts while traveling in the car.

The 17-second video shared on Sunday has garnered more than 8,300 likes. It has been viewed more than 93 thousand times on Twitter.

Action drama Akhanda was released in theaters on 2 December 2021. It was released on 21 January 2022 on Disney+ Hotstar. After becoming a blockbuster at the box office, Akhanda is creating new records on OTT. Within 24 hours of its release, it became one of the most watched Telugu films on OTT.

The makers also celebrated 50 days of theatrical release of Akhanda ahead of its release on the digital platform. According to the makers of Akhanda, the film’s world television premiere will take place on February 27, 2022, on Star Maa.

Apart from Nandamuri Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal, the film also starred Jagapathi Babu, Srikanth, Nitin Mehta, Poorna, Subbaraju, Avinash, Shravan, Prabhakar, Deshna Javji and Viji Chandrasekhar in supporting roles.

Akhand was helmed by Boyapati Srinu and produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy under the banner of Dwarka Creations. The film also marked the third collaboration between Balakrishna and Boyapati after Simha (2010) and Legend (2014).
