Hyundai India has quietly presented Aura SX CNG The variant is priced at Rs 8.57 lakh (ex-showroom). The CNG variant costs over Rs 95,000 more than the petrol variant only.
In terms of engine, new And The SX is powered by a CNG 1.2-litre engine that produces 69 PS power and 95 Nm torque. The engine comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Talking about other variants, Hyundai and Available with 83 PS/114 Nm 1.2-litre petrol engine and 100 PS/172 Nm turbo-petrol engine. Transmission duties are handled by a five-speed manual gearbox and a five-speed AMT as optional, while the turbo engine gets an MT only.
Apart from this, the Hyundai Aura CNG now also gets a host of features. The Aura SX CNG comes equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, reverse parking camera, voice recognition, chrome-finished door handles, 5.3-inch digital instrument cluster with MID, Smart Key with Push. Start/Stop button and 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Apart from the new variants, the Hyundai Aura is already available in the S CNG variant at a price of Rs 7.88 lakh (ex-showroom).
After Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura is one of the three sedans in the Indian market to get a CNG kit as an optional.
In April and May 2022, the Hyundai Aura was one of the best-selling cars in the brand’s India line-up. We expect the new CNG variant of the Hyundai Aura to contribute to the growing sales figures of the brand.
