Hyundai Venue facelift vs current-gen Venue: All expected changes – Times of India

Hyundai going to launch venue Facelift in the Indian market by mid-June 2022. The updated Venue’s first camouflage was tested in a test mule South Korea Last year and spy shots suggested that it would be getting some cosmetic upgrades. The front-end of the current-gen Hyundai Venue gets the signature chrome finished cascading grille, new projector LED headlamps with LED DRLs, projector headlamps and high-mounted indicators. The Venue sits on 16-inch alloy wheels, lower body cladding and large roof rails. At the rear, the SUV gets LED tail-lamps with a Z cluster pattern, turbo badging at the center and venue lettering.

Talking about the Hyundai Venue facelift, it will receive a few styling updates similar to the new Tucson and Creta facelifts. Up front, it will get a squarish front grille that is surrounded by the same split head-lamps. In addition to this, the Venue facelift will also come equipped with a new set of alloy wheels and sleek-looking LED tail-lamps. Updated Venue will also receive n-line The variant with dual-exhaust tips and sportier rims.

Inside, the facelifted Hyundai Venue will feature a new dashboard design to accommodate a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a digital instrument cluster, a Bose sound system, ventilated front seats and more. Other features such as automatic climate control, six airbags, electronic stability control, cruise control, sunroof and wireless charging will be carried over from the existing Venue.

Under the hood, the update location will remain unchanged. The Hyundai Venue facelift will be offered with the same 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and 1.5-litre diesel engine options. Price and Rivals
The current-gen Hyundai Venue price in India starts at Rs 7.11 lakh and goes up to Rs 11.84 lakh (both prices ex-showroom) for the top-spec variant. However, the Hyundai Venue facelift will likely be available at a starting price of Rs 7.2 lakh (ex-showroom) and will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon.
