‘I can be killed’: Imran Khan writes to Pakistan’s CJI on Toshakhana gift case

Lahore: Pakistan’s ousted Prime Minister Imran Khan has requested the country’s chief justice to allow him to attend court proceedings through a video link in cases lodged against him, claiming that if he testifies physically So they can be killed. Clashes broke out between law-enforcement agencies and PTI workers during court appearances and attempts to arrest Imran Khan in Lahore and Islamabad last week.

The cricketer-turned-politician has also been booked in nearly 100 cases facing charges of terrorism, murder, blasphemy, attempt to murder and sedition.
