I promise that we will remove BJP from power at the Center in 2024: Mamata Banerjee

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday said that the BJP has to be defeated at any cost and out of the Center in the 2024 elections. The Trinamool Congress chief also declared that ousting the BJP from power at the Center in 2024 would be his “last battle”. The 67-year-old Samant TMC boss, however, did not clarify his remarks.

Mamata Banerjee said, “Save West Bengal is our first fight. I promise we will remove BJP from power at the Center in 2024. If you try to intimidate us, we will reply.”

Addressing a rally, she said, “BJP has to be defeated in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Delhi’s fight will be my last to oust the saffron party at the Centre. I promise to oust the BJP from power.” ” “The BJP has to be defeated at any cost,” he said without giving any further explanation.

The West Bengal Chief Minister said that the BJP as the ruling party at the Center will be ousted by 2024.

“Today in India, TMC is the true heartfelt party of Maa Mati Manush. Now you have to wake up. Even if there is a storm, you will have to hit the streets. The fight for Delhi is our last fight and we promise in 2024. Remove BJP from there. “

The militant TMC leader said, “Today you are in power, so you are abusing me. Remember the day you are out, I will abuse you.”

“Everyone has to taste defeat,” Mamata Banerjee said, referring to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s defeat in 1989 despite winning over 400 seats in 1984.

He said, “Indira Gandhi was a strong political leader, but she had tasted defeat too. The BJP has around 300 MPs, but Bihar has gone, and more will come. Before the elections, she was with zero leaders. Will sit.”

The opposition BJP reacted to Banerjee’s “last fight” remark and wondered whether TMC supremo “Will hang up our shoes after the Lok Sabha elections”.

BJP spokesperson Samik Bhattacharya said, “She should clearly say whether she will hang her shoes after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. It is a foregone conclusion that the BJP will return to power for the third time in a row.”

TMC leaders asked their workers to be ready for a political battle. “We have to fight. You all are our future and you will lead us. Those who don’t know speak bad about us and indulge in conspiracy. All I say is compare the education given in West Bengal Your kingdom,” he added.
