Royal Challengers Bangalore star Virat Kohli, while speaking on his equation with skipper Faf du Plessis, said that he respects the authority that the former South Africa skipper has as a leader of former finalists. Kohli said du Plessis does say no to his suggestions from time to time and he respects the opener for his belief.
Virat Kohli stepped down as the captain of RCB after the end of IPL 2022. After months of speculation, RCB appointed him the captain of the franchise after buying Faf du Plessis in the IPL mega auction in February.
Faf du Plessis has led RCB in his own style, lauding the cooperative leadership and the presence of experienced chiefs in the dressing room. The star batsman has also been among the runs, scoring 389 runs in 12 matches so far, including 3 fifties.
