New Delhi: UAE’s Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Omar Sultan Al Olma on Wednesday commended External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar For his cleverness in projecting India’s foreign policy on the world stage. In a virtual address, inaugurating a think-tank event, Olama said he was “impressed” by Jaishankar’s abilities. The UAE minister was responding to a question on how he deals with geopolitical issues.
“Historically, the world was unipolar, bipolar or tripolar, where you had to choose sides. I am very impressed with your foreign minister. I watch some of his speeches. One thing is very clear for both the UAE and India, which is Don’t we need to choose sides,” Olma said praising Jaishankar.
Speaking on trade and commerce, Olma expressed optimism at the possibility that both India and the United Arab Emirates can expand their reach globally.
