NS Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) The study period has been relaxed for students appearing for the Intermediate examination of May 2022 after passing the July 2021 Foundation examination. Students will be allowed to appear in the examination after completing the study period of six months instead of eight months.
The reason behind this is to overcome the hardship of the students due to the postponement of the May 2021 examination, the institute said. Also, candidates can register for the intermediate exam till November 1.
“In order to remove the hardship caused to the students due to the postponement of the May, 2021 Foundation Examination, the Competent Authority has decided that the students who have passed the July, 2021 Foundation Examination shall be allowed to register for the Intermediate Course by November 1, 2021. it is necessary to do. May, 2022 to appear in the Intermediate Examination. Such students are hereby permitted to appear in the Intermediate Examination to be held in May, 2022, after completing the study period of six months in place of the study period of eight months,” ICAI notified.
CA students who clear the foundation exam can appear in the intermediate exam to be held in May next year. ICAI CA July 2021 Foundation exam result was declared on 13th September at icai.org. The exam was held from July 5 to July 19.
