Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR) has recently invited applications from the candidates to apply for the vacancy of Technician posts. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online through the official website of IARI iari.res.in. 641 vacancies will be filled through the recruitment drive. The last date to apply for the posts is 10 January.
ICAR Technician Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification: Candidates must have passed class 10 from a recognized board to be able to apply for the vacancy. The candidate should specifically indicate the percentage of marks obtained (calculated to the nearest two decimals) in the relevant column of the application form.
Age Range: The minimum age limit of the candidate should be between 18 to 30 years.

ICAR Technician Recruitment 2021: how to apply?
STEP 1. Candidates can apply online by visiting the website of ICAR-IARI and by visiting the “Recruitment Cell” tab available on the official website.
STEP 2. Candidates will be displayed an instruction page regarding the examination and they will have to accept the terms and conditions by clicking on the ‘I agree’ checkbox given below and pressing the ‘Start’ button.
Step 3. Applicants have to sign-up by filling the post applied for, name, valid mobile number and valid email id.
step 4. After submitting the above details, candidates will receive the login id and password on their registered mobile number and email id, hence candidates are advised to verify the correctness of the mobile number and e-mail id before proceeding further.
Step 5. Candidates now login again with the login id and password received on the registered e-mail id / mobile number.
Step 6. After submission of application, candidates will be automatically redirected to SBI MOPS payment gateway for depositing examination fee.
ICAR Technician Recruitment 2021: Application fee
The application fee to apply for the post is Rs 1000 for General, OBC-NCL (NCL), and EWS categories candidates. Whereas for female candidates, SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen and PWBD category the application fee is Rs.300.

ICAR Technician Recruitment 2021: Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of online examination. The tentative date for the objective type exam is from 25 January to 5 February. Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of 100 marks. The question papers for all the four sections including General Knowledge, Mathematics, Science and Social Science will be prepared bilingually in English and Hindi.
