Ice cream made with ice? Food Blogger’s Experiment Disappoints the Internet

Have you ever been able to say no to ice cream? At least we haven’t. This sweet dish is the first love of many, whether it is extreme heat or severe cold. From Creamy Chocolate Chip and Butterscotch to Tangy Orange Ice Candies, there are so many ways you can please your soulmate. You must have tried fresh fruit ice cream made from papaya or melon, but have you ever tasted fresh snow ice cream? No, we are not making this up; A man actually made “snow ice cream” in the mountains of Manali, Himachal Pradesh.
In a video shared on Instagram, a woman scoops up some fresh snow from the ground using a bowl. Then she opens a can of condensed milk and pours the thick and creamy liquid over ice. After adding a few drops of vanilla essence, the woman mixes everything in an attempt to make ice cream but ends up with a slurry. She proceeds to taste it and says it tastes like “gola” and not ice cream. While the woman did not succeed in making ice cream from fresh snow, she suggested adding a small amount of condensed milk to it. “Honestly, add less condensed milk, and you might just get the ice cream you wanted! This is a half pass, so only try it if you can carry condensed milk, a spatula, and a bowl,” she wrote. Watch the full video below:

The clip has been viewed over 2.6 million times on the platform and prompted several users to respond. Some raised hygiene concerns, pointing out that the ice may be unsuitable for eating. “Is that snow safe because everyone steps on it?” one person asked. Another warned, “It is not safe to eat ice.”

One comment read, “Lol. Take some ice in a clean bottle and melt it. You can see so many particles suspended. Why, just why.”

A fourth person wrote, ‘Let me use the dislike button.’

Another user commented, “The brainiest thing on the internet today!” “It’s very unhygienic,” added another.
