ICSI CSEET 2021 to be held on November 13 in online mode, exam pattern changed

NS Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) ICSI in an official release said that the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) will be conducted on November 13 through remote proctored mode. The agency has released a notification on its official website detailing the information for the 13th November exam.

“Candidates are allowed to appear for the test through their laptop/desktop from home/such other convenient place. Candidates will not be allowed to appear through smartphone (mobile)/tablet etc,” said ICSI.

ICSI has decided to conduct CSEET through online mode in view of the situation of Covid-19 pandemic which has adversely affected the education system in the last one and a half years.

Since the exam will be conducted online, the oral voice part has been removed and the exam pattern has been changed. Now, the exam will be of total 200 marks consisting of 140 questions. Business Communication, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, Economic and Business Environment, Current Affairs, and Presentation and Communication Skills are the five subjects on which the test will be based.

All questions will be in MCQ pattern and candidates will get total 120 minutes to complete the exam.

ICSI will issue the admit card to the students 10 days before the exam. It has advised students to make proper arrangements for laptop/desktop, uninterrupted power supply, continuous internet access and other requirements.

“The passing of the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) is one of the mandatory conditions for all the candidates registering in the Executive Program of the Company Secretary Course except the exempted categories for appearing in the CSEET,” ICSI said in its ‘most This point is highlighted in the ‘Important’ section.
