“If you are fond of court…”: BJP on “revelation” about AAP’s liquor policy

Delhi BJP spokesperson Harish Khurana tweeted, “If you are so fond of reading in the context of the court and have the commitment to give yourself the google of honesty, then read what the court said about Manish Sisodia, and the public Explain .’ Khurana has also shared videos related to Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court’s remarks about the former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi. Sisodia’s bail has been cancelled. He is the main screw in the corruption case by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) regarding Delhi’s excise policy.

Last month, the court had said that Sisodia had played a “most important role” in the criminal conspiracy and was “deeply involved in the formulation and implementation of the policy to ensure that the objectives of the said (criminal) conspiracy are achieved”. The Court had observed that,..on the basis of the lies alleged by the prosecution and the evidence gathered so far in support of the same, Sisodia could prima facie be held to be the mastermind behind the criminal conspiracy.

Greensh Khurana said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s tongue is sealed after the court’s order.

Describing Akbar as the “real kingpin”, Khurana said, “If they go chargesheeted or acquitted, the court itself will say. Stop giving yourself certificates of integrity.”

Earlier today, the Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday slammed BJP for leveling “false” allegations against the party after the court granted bail to two properties in the excise policy case.Senior AAP leader and cabinet minister Atishi had said in a press conference that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has made two allegations that a bribe of Rs 100 crore was taken from liquor traders and this money was used in the Goa elections.

Arvind Arvind had tweeted, “Now the court has also said that there is no concrete evidence of bribery or money laundering. We have been saying from the beginning that the entire excise fraud is fake and its aim is only to defame the Aam Aadmi Party.

Atishi claimed, “Yesterday, the Rouse Avenue Court granted bail to Rajesh Joshi and Gautam Malhotra. The court order states that no evidence has been produced by the ED to show that the bribery transaction took place. The order states that the ED has made some ambiguous statements of witnesses.

He said the ED has claimed that Joshi assured to send Rs 30 crore to Goa for the elections, but the court order said “there is no independent evidence to corroborate this fact”.

Atishi said, “This order proves that Aam Aadmi Party is the most honest party. The BJP was raising slogans that a scam had taken place. But, now they will ask for a joke and accept if there was no scam?”
