IIM Calcutta invites applications for its Human Resource Management Executive Program

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcuttahas launched Executive Program in Human Resource Management (HRM) with Emeritus. This one-year program enables developed and mid-career professionals, including line managers, with an interest in human resources. Interested applicants can apply on the official website till May 19.

The classes for the program will be online and in addition there will be a four-day on-campus immersion program at the IIM Calcutta campus. At the end of this programme, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion and an Executive Education Alumnus status from IIM Calcutta.

The Human Resources program has an industry-aligned curriculum, designed to help learners develop an approach to talent management and leverage the potential of employees to meet business priorities. IIM Calcutta said it will also equip the participants with a customer-oriented approach of managing human resources in acquisition, retention, competency mapping, job evaluation, fit analysis and human resource analysis.

The 13th batch of this program will start from June 30. The program fee is Rs 3,25,000 plus GST. Students have the option to pay in low cost EMIs. As per the program notification, applicants who apply early can avail 10 percent discount of Rs 32,500 on the total program fee.

Commenting on the launch of the programme, IIM Calcutta professors said, “As per recent industry reports, human resource in India is expected to grow by 9.8 per cent this year, creating around 100,000 jobs for qualified professionals. . To meet the growing demand for professionals wishing to pursue a high growth career in HR, we have designed this program to help participants hone their people management skills to enhance consumer-oriented business development strategies . At the end of the programme, participants will be able to create, manage and drive strategic HRM initiatives, which will enable their workforce to contribute effectively towards organizational change and growth.
