Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is offering an Ansys certificate program that aims to provide an in-depth online training program on emerging technologies. The courses being offered are – Engineering 5G Next-Gen Communication Systems, Autonomous Vehicle Engineering, Smart Mobility, and Hybrid and Electric Vehicle (EV) Engineering.
Ansys courses are open to engineering students – undergraduate and postgraduate, MSc Electronics, PhD scholars, faculty members and professionals from industry and start-ups. The course is starting from 14th April and will go on till 14th August. The last date for registration is 7th April. For the courses, IIT Madras’s innovator Technologies Foundation is partnering with CADFEM.

Highlighting the unique aspects of this course, Professor V Kamakoti, Director, IIT Madras and Course Coordinator, IIT Madras Promoter Technologies Foundation, said, “The IIT Madras promoter has chosen these three important areas namely 5G, Autonomous Vehicles and EV. Human capacity training which our country will need in large numbers in the near future. These courses will provide the necessary foundation for the professionals to grow and develop strong Atmanirbhar solutions in the respective fields. ,
Speaking about the programme, Madhukar Chatiri, Chief Executive Office, CADFEM India said, “We are committed to transform India into an indigenous self-reliant ecosystem. The main objective of these ANSYS certificate programs is to create a pan-India skilled workforce in sectors relevant to the industry and make a global contribution to the rapid development of disruptive technologies to meet the Industry 4.0 manpower needs.

Topics include – Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Engineering, Autonomous Vehicle Engineering, and Smart Mobility and Engineering 5G – Next Generation Communications Systems. All the courses will be of 300 hours and the fee structure is one lakh rupees.
IIT Madras Promoter Technologies Foundation is a Section 08 company housing a Technology Innovation Hub on Sensors, Networking, Actuators and Control Systems and is hosted by IIT Madras. The company is funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India under its National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS).
