Ilkar IC: Former Turkish Airlines chairman Ilkar IC will be the CEO and MD of Air India. India Business News – Times of India

New Delhi: East Turkish Airlines President ilker aisi has been appointed as the CEO and MD of Air India,
Air India’s board met on Monday afternoon to consider his candidature and Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran was a special invitee to the board meeting.
IC will assume his responsibility till April 1, 2022.

N Chandrasekaran said: “Ilkar is an aviation industry leader who has led Turkish Airlines to its current success during his tenure. We are delighted to welcome Ilkar to the Tata Group, where he will lead Air India to a new era. Will take you in
Ilker Ayci said: “I am delighted and honored to lead a prestigious airline and accept the privilege of joining the Tata Group. Working closely with my colleagues at Air India and the Tata Group leadership “We will use Air India’s strong heritage to make it one of the best airlines in the world with a uniquely superior flying experience that reflects the Indian warmth and hospitality.”
Born in Istanbul in 1971, Ayci is an alumnus of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of Bilkent University in 1994.
After a research stay on Political Science at the University of Leeds in the UK in 1995, he completed an International Relations Master’s program at the University of Marmara in Istanbul in 1997.
His appointment in AI is subject to requisite regulatory approvals.
