“Pressure over east-central Bay of Bengal, about 475 km northwest of Port Blair. To intensify into a cyclonic storm over central Bay of Bengal by the morning of 24 October. To cross Bangladesh coast between Tinakona Island and Sandwich around the morning of 25 October,” IMD tweeted.

1) During 24th and 25th October, 2022, scattered/very widespread rainfall with isolated heavy falls very likely over Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal. There is also a possibility of very heavy rainfall in Gangetic West Bengal on October 24 and 25, 2022.
