The Twitter account of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) was hacked on Saturday night (April 9). The department is trying to fix this.
A few random NFT posts were pinned to IMD’s Twitter profile saying, “In celebration of the reveal of the Beanz official archive, we’ve opened an airdrop for the next 2 hours to all active NFT traders in the community!”
Images of IMD’s Twitter profile and banner disappeared. Random people were tagged on the page. The only post was from NFT, which is currently pinned on the profile.
NFT Darkweb is being accused behind this hacking but the department has not made anything public about this incident yet.
