Berlin India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has left for his three-day visit to Europe. In the first leg of this visit, PM Modi has arrived in Germany, where he received a Guard of Honor at the Federal Chancellor in the presence of German challenger Olaf Scholz.

The Prime Minister greeted the members of the Indian community, who await their arrival at the Hotel Adlon Kempinski in Berlin. Several children were present in the hotel along with their parents waving their hands on the Prime Minister’s arrival.

On seeing the Prime Minister, people raised slogans of ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’.

Before leaving for the Federal Chancellor in Berlin, PM Modi was again welcomed by the Indian diaspora.

During his visit to Germany, PM Modi will hold his first personal meeting with newly appointed Chancellor Olaf Scholz. PM Modi and Olaf Scholz will also co-chair the 6th India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations (IGC).

The 6th IGC will be followed by a high-level roundtable where Prime Minister and Chancellor Scholz will hold talks with top CEOs from both countries. PM Modi will also address overseas Indians in Germany.

PM Modi is also scheduled to visit Denmark on Tuesday to hold talks with leaders of the Nordic countries along with other high-level talks, the visit ending with a stopover in Paris on Wednesday where the prime minister will meet the newly elected French . President Emmanuel Macron.
