According to sources, the school authorities have discussed the matter with her parents and this is the case. The issue has been resolved amicably.

“The current practice in all government schools in Delhi for the past several decades has been that if girls wear a hijab or dupatta on their way to school, they enter the school premises before going to class. “In this case, once the girl entered the school premises, her teachers requested her to remove the dupatta as per the existing practice. A source said that later, the school authorities discussed the matter with her parents and the matter has been resolved amicably. On January 1, six girl students of a college in Udupi, Karnataka, participated in a press conference organized by the Campus Front of India (CFI) in the coastal town to protest the refusal of college authorities to enter classes wearing hijabs Was.
