The BCCI has announced Indore as the venue for the third Test between India and Australia. Dharamshala was earlier to host the Test, but the venue had to be changed due to harsh winter conditions in the area and lack of sufficient grass density in the outfield.

“The third Test of India’s tour of Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which was originally scheduled to be held at the HPCA Stadium, Dharamshala from March 1 to 5, has now been shifted to the Holkar Stadium in Indore. The harsh winters in the region Due to the condition of the outfield, the outfield lacks adequate grass density and will require some time to be fully developed, the BCCI said in a statement.
