The import of nano nitrogen liquid fertilizer came months after Sri Lanka’s president gotabaya Rajapaksa’s decision in May to ban the import of chemical fertilizers.
Sri Lanka is facing a severe shortage of fertilizers after the ban. India has taken steps to expedite the supply of nano fertilizers to Sri Lanka.
