Rohit Sharma will recover in time to lead India in T20Is and ODIs, starting on July 6, after the conclusion of the fifth and final Test against England. The BCCI selectors have also included Virat Kohli in both the teams so he will not get rest.
Keeping in mind the short time between the last day of the fifth Test and the start of the T20I series, the All India Senior Selection Committee has selected two different teams for the three 20-over matches.

Shikhar Dhawan will return to the ODI team. It’s not that he was dropped but India hasn’t played an ODI in a long time. Rohit will lead the same team which won the series 2-0 against Ireland. Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj and Pramukh Krishna have been included in the ODI squad while Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been rested from the ODIs. However, he did make a place in the T20 team. Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja will play T20 and ODI as Indian spinners. There is no place for Umran Malik in the ODI squad but Arshdeep Singh has a look.
