IND vs LEI Tour Match Day 1 Live Updates: KS Bharat is batting brilliantly on day one and has scored a half-century. Earlier at tea, India had scored 175 for seven in the ongoing four-day tour game against Leicestershire at Uptonsteel Cricket Ground. Virat Kohli got out for 33 runs. Kohli and Shardul Thakur were dismissed early on by Roman Walker, who completed his five-wicket haul. Shubman Gill (21) and Rohit Sharma (25) gave India a quick start, before India lost three wickets early. Hanuma Vihari failed to make an impact and was dismissed for 3. India won the toss and elected to bat against Leicestershire in their four-day tour match at Uptonsteel Cricket Ground. This will be the only practice match for Team India before the fifth Test against England at Edgbaston from July 1. India lead the series 2-1 after the fifth Test was postponed last year due to the outbreak of Kovid in the Indian camp. The focus will be on captain Rohit Sharma and former captain Virat Kohli As both are looking to take some time off to play before the Edgbaston Test. During this, Cheteshwar Pujara, Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant And famous krishna The Leicestershire team has been prepared for this game.

Kohli pulled it off irresponsibly as he flew for the first six of the match. Kohli moved into his 30s.

Kohli pulled out his trademark extra-cover drive. He picked up four runs with it and reached his 20s.

Kohli has looked sharp more times. He has defended the balls well and has released them when needed. Hopefully a good innings will come from the former captain.

Bumrah is back in the attack this time from the end of the pavilion. Good bowling so far

Rohit tries to pull it for a boundary but gets it wrong! India now have the lost wicket of both their openers. Rohit got out after scoring 25 runs.
