IND vs SL, 2nd Test, Day 2 Live UpdatesIndia are leading by over 300 runs in the second innings of the second Test against Sri Lanka on Sunday at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Praveen Jayavikrama struck twice in quick succession to remove Hanuma Vihari and Virat Kohli respectively. Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant are currently batting for India and are forming a strong partnership. Jayavikrama took two wickets for Sri Lanka while Lasith Embuldeniya and Dhananjay de Silva also took one wicket each. Earlier, Jasprit Bumrah’s five-wicket haul helped India bundle out Sri Lanka for 109 on the second day and take a 143-run lead. Angelo Mathews top-scored for the visitors with a knock of 43 runs, in a performance where the other batsmen in the team failed. The five-wicket haul was also Bumrah’s first in India. During this, R Ashwin and Mohammed Shami took two wickets each. Earlier, India were bowled out for 252, with Shreyas Iyer missing out on a century. The batsman scored 92 runs in 98 balls, which also included 10 fours and four sixes. Meanwhile, Lasith Embuldeniya, Praveen Jayavikrama took three wickets each for the visiting bowling department.
