India vs Sri Lanka, 2nd Test | India 93 for 4 at tea break

Batting till tea break, India reached 93 for four on the first day of the second Test against Sri Lanka here on Saturday.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant was batting on 16 at the break and Shreyas Iyer was supporting him on 1.

Virat Kohli got out for 23 just before the tea break. Hanuma Vihari made 31 while captain Rohit Sharma scored 15 runs.

Lasith Embuldeniya, Praveen Jayawickrama and Dhananjay de Silva took one wicket each for Sri Lanka.

Earlier, India made a change in the playing XI, bringing in a fit Axar Patel once again in place of Jayant Thakur.

Sri Lanka, on the other hand, were forced to make two changes with Kusal Mendis and Praveen Jayavikrama replacing Pathum Nisanka and Lahiru Kumara, who were ruled out due to injuries.

India won the first test by an innings and 222 runs.
