Air Marshal Amit Dev, chief of the Western Air Command, expressed hope that one day India will have the whole of Kashmir. Air Marshal Amit Dev attended an event organized to mark the 75th anniversary of the Budgam landing of Indian troops. “I am sure that if the United Nations had not intervened, perhaps the whole of Kashmir would have been ours,” the air marshal said. He said, “… Budgam not only had the participation of the Indian Air Force and Army, but there were several small missions, which resulted in a free Kashmir… I am sure that someday PoK will join this part of Kashmir and We will have entire Kashmir in the coming years.
