Kitchlew, who operates out of Kolkata and is part of Spanish agency Best of You (BOY), has been the footballer’s agent since 2012.

She was instrumental in Bala Devi joining Rangers Women’s Football Club in Scotland in 2020, becoming the first Indian female player to sign with a top European side, besides men’s national team defender Sandesh Jhingan in Croatia in 2021. Joined HNK Sibenik for a brief period.

“It is beneficial (for Indian football) to have our voices heard at FIFA and to be on a common platform with some of the industry leaders,” he added.

Kitchlew has also worked with some renowned national team players in the past, including Subrata Paul, Renedy Singh, Gouramangi Singh, NP Pradeep, Nirmal Chhetri as well as India’s 2017 Under-17s. World Cup team goalkeeper Moirangthem Dheeraj Singh.

He was instrumental in the trials of India’s number one goalkeeper Paul to FC Vestjælland in Denmark in 2014 and Dheeraj’s trial to Motherwell FC in Scotland in 2018.

Kitchlew is involved in at least 40 player transfers in a year. He is currently managing two coaches, six foreign players and 45 domestic footballers.
