India’s e-health industry to have GMV of up to $15 billion by 2025: Redseer Consulting

According to Redseer Consulting, India’s e-health calendar will have a GMV (Gross Business Value) of $11 to 15 billion by 2025, up from $1.4 billion in 2020, bringing significant needle movement to the sector.

A forecast shared by Redseer Consulting on Monday said, “Given the sentiments in the market, the e-health sector is expected to grow nearly 10 times and its GMV in the range of $11 billion to $15 billion by CY25. Will increase.”

When the country’s health industry was facing tough times, e-health came to the rescue of many people during several waves of the pandemic, it was observed.

“With the pandemic, there has been a huge increase in e-health users in various ways such as teleconsultation, e-consultation, online testing and ordering medicines and many more. Going forward, Indian households remain optimistic about using e-health and will potentially increase their spending,” predicts RedSeer.

According to Redseer Consulting, Omnichannel, which is expected to reach a business of $1.5 billion in CY25, will emerge as the next big opportunity in healthcare.
