Indigo, Vistara jets hitch

Officials of aviation regulator DGCA said on Wednesday that the cabin crew of an IndiGo Raipur-Indore flight noticed smoke in the aircraft after landing at its destination on Tuesday.

He said all the passengers got off the plane safely. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is probing the incident.

A Bangkok-Delhi Vistara flight also suffered a power failure when the plane landed in Delhi on July 5 and was taxiing on a single engine. This caused the pilots to request a tow truck to take the aircraft to the parking stand.
