Indira Raveendran takes over as Kerala Women Panel Member

Indira Raveendran has taken over as a member of the Kerala Commission for Women.

A lawyer by profession, he has 33 years of practice in the district court here. She was also Member, Executive Committee, National University of Law, Ernakulam, and National Vice President, Indian Association of Lawyers.

Ms Raveendran was nominated to the post after MS Thara, a former member of the Women’s Commission, completed her term. He took charge at the Commission Headquarters in the presence of Chairman P. Sathidevi.
